Last year I went to the county of Wiltshire with my fiancee and his druid uncle to celebrate summer solstice. On the 20th of June we set out to the Avebury Stones, unlike Stonehenge they aren't commercialised; I suggest that if you don't know anything about them, look them up they are amazing. Anyways, we spent the entire night sitting amongst these stones listening to the drummers (there were hundreds of people) and watching the moon circle the field. As the sun began to rise above the trees people began to celebrate; dancing, singing and worshipping to the Goddess until it was high above.
